Grit Guard Inserts

The CarCareCo Grit Guard Insert is designed to help keep dirt, grit and other abrasive contaminants away from your wash mitts and sponges, reducing the risk of scratches and swirl marks during hand washing.

Its unique raised design minimises flat surfaces where dirt and grit can collect, allowing contaminants released from your wash media to fall through and settle safely at the bottom of the bucket.

The Grit Guard’s underside fins help reduce water turbulence and minimise swirling within the bucket. This helps prevent settled dirt and grit from being stirred back into the clean wash water, keeping your wash media cleaner throughout the wash process.

How to use

• Place the Grit Guard Insert in the bottom of your wash bucket.
• After washing a section of your vehicle, rub your wash mitt, sponge or other wash media against the Grit Guard to release trapped dirt and grit.
• Contaminants fall through the insert and settle at the bottom of the bucket, helping keep them away from your wash media and paintwork.
