DIY Detail – Water Spot Remover

Hard water spots and etched mineral deposits can leave paint, glass and metal looking dull, rough and neglected. DIY Detail Water Spot Remover is a powerful, easy-to-use formula designed to break down stubborn alkaline mineral deposits and restore a cleaner, spot-free finish without compromising the vehicle’s exterior surfaces.

Water spots form when water evaporates and leaves behind dissolved minerals. Fresh deposits can often be wiped away easily, but when left untreated, they can become increasingly difficult to remove and may eventually etch into the surface. Severe etching may require additional paint correction, polishing or, in extreme cases, wet sanding.

DIY Detail Water Spot Remover works on a range of exterior surfaces, including paint, glass, metal, chrome, wheels and headlights. It quickly dissolves mineral buildup, making stubborn water stains easier to remove while leaving the surface feeling clean and smooth.

The convenient spray-on, agitate and rinse formula makes treating water spots simple. For deeper etching, polishing may still be required after the mineral deposits have been removed.

For best results, thoroughly clean the surface first with DIY Detail Incredible Suds or DIY Rinseless Wash to remove loose dirt and grime.

Directions for Use

1. Clean the surface thoroughly to remove loose dirt and debris using DIY Detail Incredible Suds or DIY Detail Rinseless Wash
2. Spray DIY Detail Water Spot Remover onto one panel at a time.
3. Allow the product to dwell for 1–2 minutes. Do not allow it to dry on the surface.
4. Agitate gently with a microfiber applicator or cloth to help break down stubborn deposits.
5. Rinse the surface thoroughly with clean water to remove all product and dissolved residue.
6. Repeat as required for heavier or more stubborn water spots.

Important: Always wear gloves when using the product. Test on an inconspicuous area first to confirm surface compatibility.
