The CarCareCo Washboard Insert works with the Grit Guard Insert to help minimise the risk of scratches and swirl marks during hand washing.

Designed with a textured washboard surface and no flat areas where dirt and grit can collect, the Washboard helps release contaminants from your wash mitts, sponges and other wash media. As you agitate your wash mitt against the surface, dirt and grit are loosened and settle safely to the bottom of the bucket, keeping them away from your wash media and vehicle’s paintwork.

Dirt, grit and grime trapped in a wash mitt or sponge can be picked up again and transferred back onto the vehicle, potentially causing fine scratches and swirl marks. The Washboard provides an easy way to clean your wash media throughout the wash process, helping keep it free from abrasive contaminants.

Simply place the Washboard Insert on top of the Grit Guard Insert and rub your wash mitt, sponge or other wash media across the textured surface to release trapped dirt and grime. Contaminants are then separated from your wash media and held at the bottom of the bucket, helping provide a cleaner and safer wash every time.
