The Buff & Shine 7503G Wool Pad is a heavy professional pad used for compounding and buffing. Extra wool has been added for longer wear & more cushion. This pad is designed for the professional buffer who desires a rapid cut of severely dead paint. Buff and Shine Pads have quality hook & loop material with plush durable fibers along with strong and washable backing structure. Recessed backing offers surface protection from backing plate.

The pad has a diameter of 7.5 inches but the thick pile gives it an overall diameter of 8 inches. It has been designed for use with a 7-inch rotary polisher backing plate.

The Buff & Shine Wool Cutting Pad is intended for severe swirls, scratches and heavy oxidation. Made using 100% wool twisted into hundreds of individual strands, the twisted design allows the pad to operate at a consistent level of aggressiveness for longer periods. This unique design also makes for a rugged pad that can withstand extended polishing sessions. The trick to a successful cutting/compounding application is to have 3 or 4 wool pads on hand so you can simply switch pads when one becomes caked. Caked pads can be easily cleaned by spraying them with McKee’s 37 Polishing Pad Cleaner.
